So I dyed my hair green a few days ago. I didn't bleach my hair in advance, with the intention that the dye color would show only on the gray parts of my hair and would give me interesting streaks/highlights ... but it turns out that I have a lot more gray than I realized, and so my hair is veeerrrrrry green. I've been feeling very unhappy with my weight lately. I took Seroquel for 3 weeks (as part of our attempts to treat my recent mood issues), and I gained 10 pounds during those 3 weeks! It was my 45th birthday today, and my health obligingly cooperated with our plans, which were fairly extensive, though not rigorously scheduled.

Terrible, unrelenting headache for 2 days solid. 8 out of 10 with no let-up except when I'm asleep. Plus all the continuing GI symptoms. The headache has been bad enough that I've been sometimes having trouble thinking much at all. Yesterday I completely forgot to go to my gum graft post-op appointment. Strangely enough, the "Mostly Pudding and Ice Cream" diet has resulted in me losing 3 pounds in a week and a half. I think there are a lot of women in our culture who would be happy to hear about this effective diet regimen. Perhaps I should write a self-help book ( Read more... )
